New CPHC Chair Looks Forward

New CPHC Chair, Sally Smith (Edinburgh Napier) outlined her views of the opportunities and challenges for the future of UK Computing HE at the 2014 Annual CPHC Conference at Loughborough University this week.  Her presentation: Looking Inward; Looking Outward; Looking Forward is now available.  In it, Sally introduced delegates to their new committee members and discussed some of the issues that have been occupying CPHC over the past year and those that will be of concern in the future. Ian Livingstone CBE to Deliver Conference Keynote

We are delighted to announce that Ian Livingstone CBE will deliver the CPHC Conference Keynote at 9am on Tuesday 8th April at Loughborough University.  This follows the unfortunate news that The Right Honourable David Willetts MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science, will no longer be able to speak at the conference due to an unforeseen cabinet commitment.

Important Conference Update

We are pleased to see that many members will be attending the CPHC annual conference starting on Monday at Loughborough University. We have an exciting programme ahead and hope that this will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and strategic thinking at a national level about our discipline.

Unfortunately, we have just been informed that The Right Honourable David Willetts MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science, will no longer be able to speak at the conference due to an unforeseen cabinet commitment. The CPHC committee is working hard to find a replacement speaker at the last minute.
