Conference and AGM 2014

The 2014 CPHC conference took place at Loughborough University on 7th-8th April 2014.

The conference was bravely entitled ‘The Future of Computing’ and covered strategic and operational issues for the HE Computing Community over the next few years.  With the REF submission over, it was a time to be looking forward to what we can achieve, after looking backwards to consider our best achievements.

Monday, in summary, consisted of a session on ‘The Future of Computing’ and a another on ‘Social Media and Internationalisation in Computing Education’, preceded by the ever-efficient CPHC AGM.  In the main, this was directed at Professorss and Heads of Computing. New heads of department you were invited to join theNew Heads’ Workshop in the morning before the conference proper began.
