Our vision is:

Members, the wider academic community and government will recognise us as the collective voice for the academic discipline of computing.

In order to achieve this vision, our aim is:

Ensure that CS departments are well informed of discipline specific national activity and represented with increasing influence at a national level.
Our proposed objectives for the next two years are:

1. 1. Maximise external visibility and flow of information across and between internal/external groups.
   2. Promoting and developing communication between our members.
   3. Improving interworking, cooperative relationships and promoting and developing communication with other organisations in this computing sciences discipline area.
   4. Supporting new department leaders.

It is led by a committee and supported by an administrator, and organizes an annual conference.
