We are pleased to see that many members will be attending the CPHC annual conference starting on Monday at Loughborough University. We have an exciting programme ahead and hope that this will provide an excellent opportunity for networking and strategic thinking at a national level about our discipline.
Unfortunately, we have just been informed that The Right Honourable David Willetts MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science, will no longer be able to speak at the conference due to an unforeseen cabinet commitment. The CPHC committee is working hard to find a replacement speaker at the last minute.
Nonetheless, we have a full and diverse programme of activities and, whilst this news is clearly a disappointment, there will still be plenty to discuss and many interesting presentations. We look forward to seeing many of you there on Monday.
